I have worked as a mathematics teacher for more than 20 years, both within the framework of a general education program and within more specialized, in-depth programs. Times change, but I believe that the fundamental role of a teacher does not. A teacher must:

  • Give students strong and deep knowledge of a given subject
  • Assist in the creative development of each student, both in and outside the lesson
  • Draw out and support each child’s interest in knowledge, and to teach them to have their own point of view
  • Emphasize independence, curiosity, honesty, personal initiative, and self-confidence

Thanks to my sphere of work, I am surrounded by people whom I need, and who likewise need me.
