“History teaches modesty and tolerance. In my lessons, I try to pay attention not so much to dates and names, (although without them, of course, one cannot go anywhere in history), but to help children understand the essence of historical processes, their regularity and consistency, to help them cause-and-effect and the connection of events. A deep understanding of historical laws will help them to better orient themselves in what is happening today and have an informed opinion of what can happen tomorrow. After all, what will be tomorrow depends on today’s students.”
